National law firm Stone King has been included in The Times Best Law Firms list for 2024, ranked by other lawyers as a top three firm nationally for its excellence in the charity law sectors.

The Times’ annual list includes the top 250 law firms in England and Wales, out of almost 10,000, as voted for by lawyers.

Alison Allen, Stone King’s Chair, said: “We are very grateful for the recognition of our expertise and it is particularly heartening that so many fellow lawyers have endorsed the high standard of our work.

“We remain committed to wanting to do the very best for our clients and the communities we serve, an ethos which is very much at the heart of Stone King.”

To compile the list, an independent research firm asked solicitors and barristers across the country to recommend the best law firms in 28 categories, with checks in place to prevent respondents choosing their own firm or voting more than once. Those firms with the most votes are included in the final list, with the top three identified according to the number of recommendations received.

9,425 firms were surveyed with The Times saying: “Only 250 made the cut.”.

The accolade comes shortly after Stone King once again received top rankings from independent guides Chambers and the Legal 500.

Stone King has built a reputation for excellence amongst both private and commercial clients, whilst its strategic focus has made it a national leader in the charity, faith and education sectors.

It specialises in business & social enterprise, charity, education, faith and private client law.
