Alexandra Robinson
Solicitor

Alexandra is a Solicitor in the Education Team. She advises on a wide range of issues including data protection, discrimination, special educational needs, safeguarding, pupil behaviour, school exclusions, and parental complaints and behaviour. 

Alexandra's experience includes:

  • supporting with a range of data protection queries, including freedom of information requests, subject access requests, and court and police requests for student data;
  • providing both remote and in person training to schools, academy trusts, and third parties, on topics such as dealing with parental complaints and school exclusions;
  • supporting with complex safeguarding concerns;
  • supporting schools and academies with Disability Discrimination Claims and Local Authorities with SEND Appeals at the First-Tier Tribunal;
  • clerking independent review panel hearings relating to permanent exclusions;
  • reviewing and amending policies to ensure that they are compliant with legislation and government guidance;
  • supporting with parental complaints and difficult parent behaviour.

Alexandra has previously been a Trustee of a multi-academy trust.

Alexandra holds an MSc in Law, Business and Management and an MA in History. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Law.

Alexandra enjoys being outdoors in nature, yoga and exercising. She is also an avid reader, and enjoys going to the theatre in her downtime.
