Chloe Taylor

Chloe has experience across a wide range of children matters, including child arrangements, parental responsibility, declarations of parentage and domestic abuse. She has a particular interest in complex cases, including those involving domestic violence, mental health issues, substance misuse, criminal concerns, or ongoing parental conflict. She regularly acts for parents where contact with their children has been restricted or is in dispute, providing clear, strategic advice and robust representation to support and promote the best interests of the child. She supports clients through these challenges with care, clarity, and a steady, solutions-focused approach. Chloe understands the sensitive and emotional nature of these cases and works closely with clients to navigate the legal process with empathy, focusing on achieving practical and child-centred outcomes.

Chloe joined Stone King in 2023, having previously worked at Lyons Davidson. Her background in civil litigation provides her with strong transferable skills in court proceedings, including case preparation, evidence management and navigating procedural requirements. This enables her to take a structured and confident approach in contested family matters, while ensuring clients feel supported throughout the process. 

In addition, Chloe advises on financial matters following separation, helping clients reach fair and practical arrangements for the future. She regularly attends court hearings and works closely with barristers to ensure clients are fully supported at every stage. 

Based in Bath, Chloe works with clients across the South West and throughout England and Wales, offering both in-person and remote appointments. She is committed to delivering a high-quality service in a way that is accessible and cost-effective. 

Chloe qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) in July 2022, following completion of her legal training through CILEx. 

She is also a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family justice professionals. Resolution promotes an approach that prioritises the best interests of children and encourages solutions that support the long-term wellbeing of the whole family, helping clients navigate separation with dignity and reduced conflict.

Outside of work, Chloe values spending quality time with her family and friends, recognising the importance of strong family relationships and support networks. This personal perspective underpins her empathetic and thoughtful approach to family law, where the wellbeing of children and families remains central to all that she does. She also enjoys travelling and exploring new places.
