Danielle Francombe is an Associate Solicitor specialising in advising independent schools on a broad range of education, regulatory, and governance matters. She supports schools across day to day operational issues and strategic projects, providing clear, practical advice tailored to the independent sector and its regulatory framework.
Professional Experience
Danielle advises independent schools on a wide range of education law and governance matters, supporting both senior leadership teams and governing bodies. Her work includes day to day advisory support as well as assistance with complex and sensitive issues affecting schools. She regularly advises on safeguarding and pastoral issues, pupil discipline, exclusions, complaints handling, regulatory compliance, and governance arrangements. Danielle also supports schools with policy drafting and review, school re organisations, and responding to regulatory inspections and follow up actions.
Danielle also has experience supporting establishments looking to set up early years provision, and independent schools, including independent special schools and non-maintained special schools.
Danielle works closely with colleagues across Stone King’s education and charity teams, enabling her to provide joined up advice where education, employment, charity and safeguarding issues overlap.
Academic Experience
Danielle studied law at the University of Warwick, she then completed her LPC at BPP Cambridge where she achieved a distinction and the highest overall mark in her cohort.
Interests
Outside of work Danielle is a keen baker, tennis player and runner. She also enjoys spending time with her young family.
