Danielle Francombe
Associate Solicitor

Danielle is an Associate in the Education Team and advises schools on a wide range of operational issues. As the team’s Professional Support Lawyer, Danielle is also responsible for maintaining the Education Team’s operational knowledge function and is the Wellbeing Lead for the Cambridge Office.

Professional Experience

Danielle advises schools on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

  • Admissions, admission appeals and admission adjudications;

  • Safeguarding;

  • Pupil behaviour and exclusions;

  • Special Educational Needs and disability;

  • Equality Act duties and issues;

  • Parental complaints;

  • Family law issues and parental responsibility in a school context; and

  • Compliance and policy reviews.

Danielle has experience of delivering training to our clients and has contributed to articles on topical educational issues.

Academic Experience

Danielle studied law at the University of Warwick, she then completed her LPC at BPP Cambridge where she achieved a distinction and the highest overall mark in her cohort.


Outside of work Danielle is a keen runner, tennis player, and baker.

Danielle is the Wellbeing lead for the Cambridge Office. She is involved in practical initiatives to boost the physical and mental wellbeing of staff.
