Lucy Entwistle

Lucy has experience in a wide variety of education property matters such as academy conversions and transfers as well as other dealings with school land. This includes the grant of leases and licences to other users and ancillary work associated with lettings, and disposals and acquisitions or restructures of ownership of school land, including complex matters such as overage.

Lucy also advises clients on commercial real estate matters, including advising and assisting on acquisitions and disposals of property, including for residential development purposes. She also acts for commercial landlords and tenants in relation to general commercial lettings including for industrial units, retail space or office space. This also covers where elements of development or fit out are required to a site either by the landlord or the tenant before the lease commences.

Lucy has acted on a number of business acquisitions, both in relation to solvent and distressed companies and is experienced in the commercially minded advice required in these types of transactions.

Lucy holds an LLB in Law from the University of York, and an LPC from the University of Law in Leeds.
