Stone King’s Manchester team has spent time organising goods ready for distribution to local food banks in the run-up to Christmas.

Craig Vincent, Jonathan Copping, Penny Walters, Jamie Otter and Kirstin Fraser spent the afternoon at the Manchester Central Foodbank, making sure food and other essential items were ready to be sent to food banks across the city as well as other community hubs.

This was the first corporate social responsibility (CSR) outing for the team and comes on the back of similar efforts in Leeds, where Stone King also has an office.

It was organised by Senior HR Consultant Penny Walters, who said:

“We were delighted to help the Manchester Central Foodbank who will be helping so many people and families this Christmas.

“Food banks play an increasingly vital role in helping make sure people don’t go without and we are pleased to play a small role in supporting the work they do.”
