Stone King’s Elizabeth Fortin is gearing up for the Exeter Live Better Marathon on 12 May in support of Julian House.
This will be the second time Senior Associate Elizabeth puts her best foot forward in aid of the Bath charity, having previously run the Paris Marathon last year.
Now, with a target of under four hours, she will be taking to the streets of Devon, cheered on by friends and family.
“Running my first marathon in Paris last year was an incredible experience; it’s a very memorable route which passes almost all the city’s iconic landmarks,” she said.
“What made it even more special was running for Julian House, a local charity which provides vital support, both on an emergency and long-term basis, to vulnerable and at-risk individuals in the south west.
“I’m looking forward to sharing the experience with family and friends.”
Julian House is known for its wide-ranging work with homeless and vulnerable people, its work has grown to include projects and programmes providing accommodation, support, training and employment.
