The national law firm has welcomed four new joiners to its business & social enterprise, charity, and private client sectors, with as many promotions also being celebrated.

Solicitor Ruby Lake will focus on charities that campaign and fundraise, and she’ll also be advising political bodies and campaigners on electoral law in the run-up to the next UK general election.

Solicitor Benjamin Pike is a new addition to the firm’s Commercial Property Team and will work predominantly with faith charity clients and independent schools on a wide range of property-related matters.

Caroline Taylor, Head of Real Estate, said: “I am pleased to welcome Ben into the Team. His past experience will add to our cross-sector expertise, allowing us to help a wide range of diverse clients.”

Amy Turner-Bayly has been promoted to Associate in the Trusts and Estates Team, with her specialisms including probate and estate administration, Wills and tax planning, lasting powers of attorney and trust administration and advice. Head of the Trusts and Estates Team Kathryn Layzell said: “Amy brings so much to the team and is a real pleasure to work with. We’re thrilled to see her stepping up to Associate level.”

Two paralegals have also joined Stone King, which has offices in Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, London and Manchester.

Janine Nash has joined the Trusts & Estates Team, while Zoe Dipple is a new addition to the Information Law Team. Senior Associate Jo Lake said: “Paralegals are invaluable members of any team and we’re really looking forward to utilising their skillsets.”

Meanwhile, in Stone King’s HR Team, Kate Mallinson, Rachel Feilden, Emmalene Brown and Joshua Ward have all been promoted. 

Kate is now Senior Employee Relations Adviser, Rachel is now Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Adviser, Emmalene is now Senior Reward and Benefits Adviser, and Joshua is now HR Data and Reporting Coordinator.
