Tuesday 7th June 2022
On 31 May 2022, the Charity Commission appointed Tom Murdoch and Tony Pidgeon, both Partners at national law firm Stone King, as Interim Managers of Kantor Foundation and Kantor Charitable Foundation.
The appointments are to perform a number of functions at both charities including their day-to-day management and administration in place of the charities’ trustees, who will hold no formal role during this period.
Tom Murdoch, who has significant experience of acting as Interim Manager, says:
“The role is akin to being a trustee. Foremost among our duties will be considering the best interests of the charities and their beneficiaries. We anticipate working closely with the Charity Commission to implement a plan which best reflects those needs, the reputations of the charities and public trust and confidence in them.”
These appointments mark the twelfth time that Stone King lawyers have been appointed as Interim Managers.
