Alison joined Stone King in 1998 after training and working in a Bristol firm for seven years. She is the firm’s Chair and also has a broad practice dealing with estate planning, Wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the Court of Protection.

She has a particular interest in dealing with vulnerable people and their families and regularly acts as a professional attorney, deputy and trustee.

After 30 years in practice, Alison has extensive experience helping clients with Wills and tax and estate planning. She enjoys building relationships with her clients over many years and helping them find peace of mind by making provision for those important to them.

Alison also advises those who may need to create trusts and other arrangements for vulnerable loved ones who need long term care or support.

In her role as a professional attorney and deputy, Alison acts for older or vulnerable people and often commissions packages of care for them. She has a wide network of professional relationships in the care sector and can help her clients navigate the sector’s complexities.

Alison can provide advice on local authority duties in relation to adult social care as well as NHS continuing health care.

Alison is a full member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Association of Taxation Technicians.

Alison has three grown-up children and enjoys painting, the natural world and keeping fit – she is a keen cyclist.
