Duncan Ho

Solicitor Duncan joined Stone King’s Construction Team in 2023 and is based in Cambridge.
He practised as a Barrister in Hong Kong for nine years, handling many construction disputes in arbitration and litigation.
Duncan started his career with a leading structural engineering consultant firm in Hong Kong. He gained experience both in the design office and on-site working as a structural engineer.
After qualifying as a barrister in Hong Kong in 2014, Duncan has had a broad practice. With his background in civil engineering, he was frequently instructed in construction disputes involving arbitration and litigation.
Other civil cases he handled spanned a wide spectrum including land-related disputes, building management, commercial contracts, tort, trust, probate and administration, personal injuries, employment, discrimination, intellectual property and judicial review.
Duncan qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2023, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), the Society of Construction Law and the Adjudication Society. As an accredited mediator, he has also helped multiple parties reach settlement.
Duncan was awarded his first Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering by the University of Cape Town.
He later obtained his LLB from Manchester Metropolitan University, and also a Master’s Degree in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from City University of Hong Kong.
Duncan enjoys playing football and spending time with his family.
