Jemma Statham
Data Protection Practitioner

Prior to joining Stone King as a Data Protection Practitioner, Jemma worked as a Data Protection Officer in the Education and Charity sectors. She advises on information law matters including provision of advice relating to the UK General Data Protection Regulations, Data Protection Act, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, Freedom of Information and Environmental Information regimes.  
 

Jemma advises on a full range of information law matters including requests under the UK General Data Protection Regulations, Freedom of Information and Environmental Information regimes. She can advise on data sharing, general data protection compliance, data breach management and direct marketing. Jemma acts for organisations including schools (state-funded and independent), charities and businesses. She undertakes data protection audits and delivers training for clients.

Jemma completed her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. After a number of years in industry, Jemma went on to complete a PGCE in secondary science teaching and she has Qualified Teacher Status.  Jemma has BCS Foundation and Practitioner certificates in data protection.
