Sarah Williams
Registry Manager for Bath and Wells Diocese

Sarah manages the Diocesan Registry for the Diocese of Bath and Wells.

Sarah advises, helps and supports the Bishop’s Chaplains, Archdeacons, Diocesan Advisory Committee Secretaries, clergy, lay ministers and parish officials. 

Sarah has been the Registry Manager for  Bath & Wells Diocesan Registry since January 2009 and was Assistant Diocesan Advisory Committee Secretary from January 2009 until November 2023.

Before becoming Registry Manager Sarah spent ten years working in a variety of administrative roles for a local firm of solicitors.

Sarah's work includes the wide range of Registry matters and ecclesiastical law, including faculties, clergy licences, parish governance, patronage, marriage law, churchyards, and church property.

ILM Level 3 Diploma in Leadership & Management.

Outside of work, Sarah is a member of her local parish church assisting with property and admin matters, as well as more practical daily running matters, including maintenance of the church and hall.
