Sophie Dix
Paralegal

Sophie works as a Paralegal within the Commercial Property Team, assisting the team with Education matters including Academy conversions and Service Occupancy Agreements. She has previous experience working within Residential Conveyancing and Family law whilst working at a firm in Bristol, and has recently joined Stone King following her graduation from Bournemouth University with a degree in LLB Law.

After graduating university, Sophie gained experience by working as a Legal Assistant within Residential Property, helping facilitate sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgaging of properties. Whilst studying my LLB Law degree, she worked as an Administrative Assistant and Legal Aid clerk within family law during a 1 year work placement. This entailed overseeing the submission and management of client legal aid applications, client onboarding and liaising with solicitors and counsel. During this time, Sophie also gained experience within Wills and Probate, assisting with Lasting Powers of Attorney and drafting Wills.

Sophie graduated from Bournemouth University with a first class honours degree in LLB Law, during which she undertook a 1 year work placement within family law at a firm in Bristol. Sophie is currently studying the LPC LLM at BPP university with aspirations of later qualifying as a solicitor

Outside of working and studying, Sophie enjoys cooking, reading, listening to podcasts and travelling
