Zila Lwanda

Zila advises on a wide range of employment issues for maintained schools, single and multi-academy trusts, and independent schools.

She supports clients in defending employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal and discrimination.

Zila also regularly advises on and drafts contractual documents, including settlement agreements, and assists clients with day-to-day employment issues such as Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE), grievances, disciplinaries, pay, and holidays.

Zila graduated with a First in Scots Law from the University of Strathclyde. She has also completed the LPC and holds a Master’s in International Business Law, with distinction.

Zila is an enthusiastic amateur aerialist. She also enjoys baking.
