Date updated: Tuesday 25th October 2022

We are delighted to invite you to watch this free seminar with Stone King LLP, the Electoral Commission and NCVO.

In this seminar, we provide a refresher to help you navigate charity and election law, to give confidence to campaigners, as well as trustees.

The Electoral Commission will provide an introduction to its work, the changes brought about by the Election Act 2022 and the Electoral Commission’s work in supporting regulated campaigners.

Alex Farrow, Director of Influencing and Engagement at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), will cover developing a campaign strategy, planning and running a campaign, as well as putting together a manifesto for the next General Election.

Given recent political and regulatory developments, charities, campaigning and faith organisations will be working on a range of campaigns, as well as putting together manifestos and policy positions.

We will advise on charity rules including Charity Commission campaigning and election guidance, cover non-political and political campaigning, as well as guidance on non-party campaigning under the Political, Parties and Referendums Act. For faith organisations, we will also cover the ‘undue influence’ rules.

Whether your campaign or policy is about the cost of living, climate change, housing, mental or physical health, refugees, equality, post-Brexit Britain or another issue, please join us for an interesting and informative seminar.
