Hannah Kubie, partner in Stone King’s Charity & Social Enterprise team, spoke to the Telegraph about the potential impact of Oriel College, Oxford’s charity status on the process of removing a statue of Cecil Rhodes, as published in the Sunday Telegraph on 21 June 2020.
Hannah says: “There are many considerations alongside the College’s charity status and the trustees have to decide what is best for advancing their charitable objects. That includes considering the risks of inaction at the present time.”
